I'm Lulu - founder of Lulu Studio, painter, and graphic designer. I started the studio in 2020 as a way to keep busy during Covid (classic), and a place to keep making art on my own terms. Figuring life out i between that from studying marketing, graphic design, midwidery (yep, I can’t believe it either). Six years on, it's grown into both: a working art practice and a design studio, running side by side, each one feeding the other.

My design background is agency-trained working across branding, print, and digital for lifestyle, boutique businesses, events and weddings. My focus is crafting brands that feel considered, timeless, and guided by strategy and connection.

On the art side, my collections are colour-led, abstract and a place to truly disconnect and be my authentic self. Made in the studio between client projects, and it's the part of the work I never want to give up.

Away from the studio you'll find me down the beach with my people, travelling in our troopy or teaching myself a new hobby (currently it’s attempting to sew with my Nanna’s very old sewing machine with no instruction book) which is usually where the next collection starts before I even know it. Everything I make - a brand or a painting - comes from the same place: a deep love for design and creativity.
