This project involved a complete rebrand of the Australia Ensemble UNSW, aiming to modernise its image and attract new audiences while maintaining its connection to the university’s academic and cultural identity. The process began with exploratory mark-making inspired by the rhythm and intimacy of chamber music, evolving into expressive illustrations that captured the emotion of each concert. Through experimentation with colour, texture, and sound-wave forms, the visual language began to take shape, leading to a refined, modern logo that balanced creativity with professionalism. The final outcome included a cohesive brand system, a 12-page concert program, and an animated digital touchpoint, all designed to reflect the ensemble’s sophistication, accessibility, and enduring relevance in the contemporary music scene.
